The site is coming together!

I think I've gotten to the point where the nitty gritty of building this site is done. I have "The Sisters" all set up with part 1 of chapter 1 all set and ready to go. I am hoping to have a new part by next week. I think I'm going to see about linking this to my Twitter account so at least I can get some eyeballs on these pages.

I also have the streaming side of things all ironed out. I am no expert in building a website, but there was definitely a problem with embedding a twitch stream and having it resize to mobile and whatnot. I spent the better part of a couple of days trying to get to the root of the issue. I had to learn a little html and css on the fly today. I managed to get it going though and now I'm super stoked that I got the feed working. I also added a little feed for this news page to the home page so someone who comes to this site for the first time can see the latest news.

If you are one of those people, welcome! This site is my portfolio and it is also going to be my venting space for creative endeavors. I have been creating content for years but I've never shared it and I never did it with any frequency. This year, I realized that there is no downside to sharing my stuff and if some random internet strangers get some enjoyment out of then so be it! I'm not going to be afraid to show my stuff anymore.

I also wanted to share on my own terms. Facebook, Twitter, and other social media doesn't jive with me very well. I wanted my own site with my own rules. I'm still going to use social media as a way to augment this site, but I'm glad to be doing it on my own.
