Some more Spider-Folks...

Here’s another set of drawing I did. I’m trying someting a little different when it comes to color and shading. For instance, I am doing more hard light coloring instead of smudging. It think this lends itself much nicer to that more “comic book” feel. I think the results are looking pretty good!

I’m excited to continue to work on these. My goal is to not need reference images and just use other art as inspiration rather than source material. I’ve already learned so much just studying how other artists work.

That’s it for today. Just keeping this up-to-date. I need to keep this journal because it helps with my own process to see my progress.
