Some before and after...

I have been teaching myself how to draw for a few years now. It has been slow going. So slow, it is hard sometimes to register the amount of progress I've actually made. Sometimes, when I'm struggling with a particular drawing I feel like I havent made any progress whatsoever. Lucky for me, I do have some perspective I can always fall back on....

One of the perks of doing all my art digitally is I have the luxury of not throwing anything away. I have huge archives of old art from back when I first started drawing. There were a bunch I was particularly proud of. I have recently gone back and looked at them and I cringed. These were...not good. Okay, I gotta give myself some credit, they were good for someone who just got an ipad and was like "I'm gonna draw!"

Anyway, these characters were created as part of a D&D game I ran and I decided to redraw them as I draw now. Hope you guys like it.

New art is on the left and the old is on the right. As if you couldn't tell. >_>
