So Much Quarantine Art!

So I have been on a tear these last few weeks! I have taken older drawings and re-colored them, I have drawn new works form scratch and colored them. I’m feeling line I’m developing a cleaner and more vibrant style. I am liking how all of them are turning out. There are a couple of different techniques at play in the image above. Some were drawn using solid colors with different hues indicating shading. Others have a greyscale shading applied to them and then color put on top of that with different blending modes. I think all of them have been pretty successful. I feel I prefer the the solid color method. There is more work involved, but I feel like I have more control over how vibrant the end product looks. I liked it so much that I decided to make this image above my banner for the website.

Below is a time lapse that I worked on to show off the different coloring styles I’m trying. This one was more of a painting style. I like how it turned out reddish. That’s were the idea for the title came in.
