July 2023’s Art Attack!

It’s been a little over a month since my last post, but that doesn’t mean I have been resting on creating some fun projects. I have made several character concepts for an original TTRPG setting I’m currently working on. I’m going for a very cyberpunk aesthetic, but I also have high concept fusions between human and machine in the pipeline. I’m thinking of a more western like style as I get farther out into the "Outer Worlds". Obviously Firefly is another inspiration there. Stay tuned for different aesthetics in my future pieces as I concept out different areas of this world I’m building out. All of these current pieces are in the “Center Worlds” and are very industrial and high tech. I’m excited for where these are going.

As far as what system this ttrpg setting is going to be under, that is a great question. As much at I love D&D 5e, I don’t feel that this is an appropriate system for space faring sci-fi/cyberpunk settings. I am thinking very heavily about Free League’s Year Zero system which is used for Alien and Coriolis. Already great sci fi settings. They have a really great open source SRD that everyone should check out. Other systems I am considering is World of Darkness for its simple dice pool system, or even Starfinder for a little bit more complexity. Stay tuned; as I build this world out more then I will start really thinking about the mechanics of it all.
