Here is some more Destiny Fan art that I’ve created. Recently, Bungie updated their game with something called the “Go Fast” Update. It has done an incredible job of breathing new freshness into the Crucible (Player vs. Player) meta.
A side effect of this is, well, I’m back to playing a lot more Destiny. I went on a little hiatus for a while there. However, whenever I get back into this damned game it encompasses a lot of my mindshare. That means it seeps its way into my art. Not to mention the fact that the gear lends itself well to my style of drawing. The guns are cool and the armor is cool. And the character run and jump and find themselves in cool poses. This delights me as an artist.
So here I am, making more fan art. However, my Destiny fan art is probably the biggest log of my long term progress. My skill as an artis has greatly improved drawing this one character. I can’t recall any other video game character that has had its hooks in me for longer than this Guardian. It helps that she doesn’t say a single thing and I can imprint my own back story and personality to her. Some players don’t like the silent protagonist thing and I get that. My preference does not invalidate their preference.
Anyway, this is another smal update. I had wanted to post a time lapse as well, but ProCreate ate it. It has been doing that recently and I don’t exactly know why. I hope the devs can fix that bug soon, because there have been quite a few drawings that I don’t have time lapses for and that sucks. It’s not the end of the world, as I still have the finished product. I do indeed like to edit my time lapses though. Oh well. Such is life.
I hope that his post finds you all in good spirits and I hope that life is treating you well. Hopefully next time I will have something more substantial in the weeks to come. Until then, be kind to each other.
